Designed for the MMCC Hawker's Guild Design Challenge: Spring 2025. As a former Union Ironworker, as soon as someone said "tools" for the theme, I knew this was going to be my project. I used "spud" wrenches on a daily basis when erecting steel structures and bolting them together. The pointy tail on the wrench is used to align holes in the beams. Typically 2-3 holes on smallish beams. You'll stick your spud in one hole and pry it around to get the other holes to line up so you can stuff a bolt in them.

But it's Star Wars so it needs to be impractical and overcomplicated for it's intended use case, so instead of doing a normal adjustable style wrench as shown in the reference picture... I made them more like Parallel Pliers with big greebs for the "power" functionality. It is intended that some type of cabling or wiring connects the power greebs on each side.

The plaques on the side are a branding for Keldabe arms construction tools liine "in universe". K-Line is a direct nod to Klein Tools that makes spud wrenches and pliers I've used when tying rebar. So my construction tool series is "K-Line". The other plaque is the motto "From Ruin, Resolve". I've decided my OC is quite passionate about rebuilding Mandalore after the events of S3 of The Mandalorian.

I've added some "Mando" detailing around the design. The Jaws have some design work reminiscent of the Mythosaur Logo and the handle hints at an "Iron Heart" which is actually useful when you want to open it up you have somewhere to grab on.

So what makes this a "Heavy Construction Power Wrench" you ask... it's 1 meter long. The Armorers get their big hammers and tongs but our Mobile Engineers and other mechanically inclined vode don't have a big melee weapon relevant to their profession, so I thought I should address the lack.
